6.3.3 Using a DB-9 Adapter for Your Serial Link
To connect to a terminal that has a 9-pin serial connector, connect one of the
Sun Fire V120 or Netra 120 server’s serial ports to a DB-9 (9-pin) adapter that
performs the pin inter-connections listed in
TABLE 6-3 .
Note – When the Sun Fire V120 and Netra 120 servers are viewed from the rear, pin
1 of the RJ-45 serial port is on the left, and pin 8 is on the right.
