15.6 AT+CMGW Write Message to Memory

PDU Mode

Stores a message to memory storage . Memory location
of the stored message is returned. By default message status
will be set to ‘stored unsent’, but parameter allows other status
values to be given. ME/TA manufacturer may choose to use different
default values for different message types. Entering PDU is the
same as specified by the send message command, +CMGS. If writing
fails, final result code +CMS ERROR: is returned. See
“AT+CPMS Preferred Message Storage”, page 251.

address octets are not counted in the length)
