2 Remove the jammed paper in the direction shown. To avoid
the paper tearing, pull it out gently and slowly.
N OTE : If the paper tears, make sure that all of the paper
fragments are removed from the printer.
3 Close the right cover. The printer will resume printing.
In the Paper Exit Area
If paper is jammed in the paper exit area, “Jam In Exit Area”
appears on the display.
1 If a long portion of the paper is visible, pull it straight out.
Go to step 7.
If you cannot find the jammed paper, or if there is any
resistance removing the paper, stop pulling and go to
step 2.
