Operating mode Echo Echo Echo Data entered from the

bps Uses the 9600 bps (bits per
second) line speed to
communicate with the system
unit.
Word length
(bits) 8 8 8 Selects eight bits as a data
word length (byte).
Parity No No No Does not add a parity bit, and
is used together with the word
length attribute to form the
8-bit data word (byte).
Stop bit 1 1 1 Places a bit after a data word
(byte).
Turnaround
character CR CR CR Selects the carriage return
(CR) character as the line
turnaround character.
Interface EIA-232 EIA-232 EIA-232 Uses the EIA-232 interface
protocol.
Line control IPRTS IPRTS IPRTS Uses the Permanent Request
to Send (IPRTS) signal to
communicate with system unit.
Break signal
