❏ Place tape inputs in record/ready to verify sig-
nal at machine.
It’s typically best to monitor signal from the multi-
track rather than from the channel input.
❏ If levels on the multitrack appear too hot or
cold, adjust level with the LEVEL TO TAPE
control (Direct Out Level in the ASSIGN win-
dow).

❏ If you want to monitor from the multitrack,
remove Bank 1-24 from the L/R mix. This has
no effect on the output to tape.
