Retrieving parameters

To retrieve the value of the OB2OPTS parameter for the Oracle instance ICE, use
the following command on the Data Protector SAP R/3 client:

On Windows: Data_Protector_home\bin\util_cmd -getopt SAP ICE
OB2OPTS -sublist Environment

On HP-UX, Solaris, and Linux: /opt/omni/lbin/util_cmd -getopt SAP
ICE OB2OPTS \ -sublist Environment

On other UNIX: /usr/omni/bin/util_cmd -getopt SAP ICE OB2OPTS
-sublist \ Environment

Listing parameters

To list all the Data Protector SAP R/3 configuration file parameters for the Oracle
instance ICE, use the following command on the Data Protector SAP R/3 client:

On Windows: Data_Protector_home\bin\util_cmd -getconf SAP
ICE

On HP-UX, Solaris, and Linux: /opt/omni/lbin/util_cmd -getconf SAP
ICE

On other UNIX: /usr/omni/bin/util_cmd -getconf SAP ICE

Deleting parameters

To remove the value of the OB2OPTS parameter for the Oracle instance ICE, use
the following command on the Data Protector SAP R/3 client:

On Windows: Data_Protector_home\bin\util_cmd -putopt SAP ICE
OB2PTS "" -sublist Environment

On HP-UX, Solaris, and Linux: /opt/omni/lbin/util_cmd -putopt SAP
ICE OB2OPTS "" -sublist Environment

On other UNIX: /usr/omni/bin/util_cmd -putopt SAP ICE OB2OPTS
"" -sublist Environment
