Power Supply
Problem Solution
Power is not being
supplied to the
printer.
After
turning
an the
printer, the display
remains blank.

The power cord may be disconnected or
may not be completely plugged in. Turn
off the printer and check the power cord
connections at the printer and at the
electrical outlet. Then turn the printer
back on.
Check to see if the power cord is
damaged. If it is, replace it with a new
power cord.
The problem may be with the electrical
outlet itself. If the outlet is controlled by
an outside source such as a wall switch,
make sure it is on.
If the printer still does not operate, the
outlet may be faulty. Plug another
electrical device into the outlet to check
whether the outlet is operating properly.
