Paper Jam Problems

This section gives you detailed information on correcting paper

jams, which are indicated by a

PAPER JAM

or an

INSERTION

ERROR message.

CAUTION:

If the paper tears while you are removing it,

make sure you remove any pieces still remaining in the

printer.

Insertion error
If the

INSERTION

ERROR message

appears, the jam is in the paper

feed area. To remove

the

jammed paper, follow the steps below.

1. Remove the paper cassette.
