The screen displays the following message:
SELECT is used to install DOS the
first time. SELECT erases everything
on the specified target and then
installs DOS.
Do you want to continue (Y/N)?
4. Press Y. The screen displays the following message:
WARNING, ALL DATA ON NON-REMOVABLE
DISK DRIVE C: WILL BE LOST!
Proceed with Format (Y/N)?
5. Press Y, then press Enter. MS-DOS begins formatting the
primary partition. The screen continuously displays the
changing head and cylinder numbers of the drive.
Because the formatting process takes a few minutes, your
screen may go dark. Just press any key to make the
information on the screen visible again,
When the procedure is complete, the screen displays the
following message:
Format complete
System transferred
Volume label (11 characters, ENTER for
none)
