CHECK 2: To check that the USB device driver is
installed correctly

Turn on the printer, and then connect the printer to the computer
with the USB cable.

Right-click the My Computer icon on the desktop, and then
click Properties in the shortcut menu that appears. The System
Properties dialog appears.
With Windows 98 or Windows Me, follow the procedure below.

Click the Device Manager tab of the System Properties dialog.
• If Laser Printer 300 Series appears below Universal serial
bus controller , the USB device driver is correctly installed.
Perform a test print and if you still cannot print correctly,
continue to CHECK 3.
