Using the Control Panel
Printer Setting
Power Save
These controls determine the power saving settings of your printer.
Select the
On setting to enable the power saving mode. The mode will
be disabled if you check Off . The Power Save Interval setting deter-
mines the number of minutes that the printer will sit without receiving
a command before entering the power save mode. You can enter any
interval of time from
1 to 60 minutes.
Detect Size Error
This setting enables the printer to automatically detect if paper of a size
that is not currently specified has been loaded into the currently
selected tray. Select
On to enable size error detection and Off to disable
the feature.
Jam Recovery
When this control is On , the printer will save data in the event that the
document should jam before it is output. Data is not saved when this
control is set to
Off .
