Installing the PCL Printer Driver Under Windows 2000
For a USB connection:
1
Turn on your computer and start up Windows 2000.

Turn on the printer.

Check that Windows 2000 has finished starting up and that the
printer is ready.

Connect the printer to the computer with the USB cable (For
more details, refer to
“Connecting to a Computer” on page 2-18.) to
display the Found New Hardware Wizard dialog.

Insert the Printer Driver CD-ROM that comes with your printer
into your computer’s CD-ROM drive, and then click Next .

Check the Display a list of the known drivers for this device
so that I can choose a specific driver option button, and then
click Next .

Click Printers , and then click Next .

Click Have Disk , and then click Browse .
