Settings of the IP address have three methods which can be sorted by priority:
DHCP, Auto IP and Manual IP.
To use DHCP, turn “ON” DHCP;
To use Auto IP, turn “OFF” DHCP and select Auto IP;
To use Manual IP, turn “OFF” DHCP and select Manual IP to set the IP address
manually, see the figure below.

Save all the changes and go back to
last Manu.
2. Set Up GPIB Parameter (only for DM3058)
Each device on the GPIB (IEEE–488) interface must have a unique address.
You can set the address of multimeter to any integral value between 0 and 30.
The default address is “7” when the instrument is shipped from the factory.
Press I/O GPIB, enter the menu shown below:
