7.6 Start-Up
Once the mechanical and electrical installation of the string monitoring box is complete and all leads have been
routed and connected in accordance with the relevant regulations, a system test can be carried out.
Checking the string monitoring box
" To test the string monitoring box, measure the PV+ string leads against the PV- string leads, checking for
continuity.
When the string monitoring box is started up, it is necessary to start up the entire PV system as well.
NOTICE
Before starting up the entire PV system, make sure that you have read and understood the operating
and installation instructions for the inverter. Only authorised electricians who have read and fully
understood all of the safety instructions contained in these operating and installation instructions,
as well as other instructions concerning assembly, operation and maintenance, may start up this
system.
Starting up the PV system
" Start up the PV system in accordance with the operating and installation instructions of the inverter.
Once the entire PV system has been started up successfully, the start-up of the string monitoring box is also
complete.
Closing the housing door
1. After a successful installation and start-up, close the cover using the latches on the door of the housing.
2. Ensure that the cover has been closed properly so that the unit is not exposed to moisture and dirt.
