4.3.1

Skip Function (G31) *

By specifying “G31 X • • • Y • • • Z • • • (*a • • • b • • • ) F • • •;”, special linear interpolation is
executed. If a skip signal is input during the execution of linear interpolation, linear interpolation
is interrupted and the program advances to the next block without executing the remaining linear
interpolation.

Delay from the input of the skip signal to the start of processing corresponding to the input signal
is shorter than 0.5 msec; this is processed at extremely high speed.
