4. Check the enclosure of the DC subdistribution for defects or leaks, e.g. soiled or damaged
areas.
Remove any soiling with a non-abrasive damp cloth.
If damage is detected which impairs the function of the DC subdistribution or causes the
enclosure to leak, contact Service (see Section 15, page 74).
5. Check whether the door hinges of the DC subdistribution are soiled.
Remove any soiling with a non-abrasive damp cloth.
10.3.4 Checking the Condensate Drain
Procedure:
• Check whether there is any internal or external clogging of the condensate drain (see
Section 6.1, page 25) in the connection area of the DC subdistribution.
If so, unscrew the condensate drain, rinse out with water and refasten to the enclosure.
10.3.5 Checking the Vent Plug
Danger to life from electric shock due to live voltage
High voltages are present in the live components of the DC subdistribution. Touching live
components results in death or serious injury due to electric shock.
• Disconnect the inverter from all voltage sources on the DC side (see the inverter manual).
• Disconnect the DC subdistribution from voltage sources (see Section 8.2, page 47)
• Disconnect all DC sub-distributions that are connected in parallel in the DC connection area
(see the manual of the respective DC sub-distribution).
Procedure:
1. Disconnect the DC subdistribution from voltage sources (see Section 8.2, page 47)
2. Remove protective covers in the DC subdistribution (see Section 12.2, page 63).
3. Check whether the vent plug (see Section 4.2, page 14) on the enclosure of the DC
subdistribution is soiled on the outside or inside.
Remove any soiling with a non-abrasive damp cloth.
