Introducing NewsShare
NewsShare provides the DNP system with the ability to share a common news
database and common media volumes. This allows newsroom personnel to use
a common media base, making all aspects of the editing process easier to create
and maintain.
This document describes each of the computers that comprise a NewsShare
system, for the Open SAN system, the NAS system, and the K2 system, and
how to install and configure all necessary components. If you are installing a
system that comes from the factory, most of these procedures have already been
done for you. Use this document for reference or when upgrading existing
equipment.
