 Double-click the “maxReality_setup.exe” program to launch the installer.
The installation program will install the maxReality plug-in, a number of support
files and the maxReality Viewer application. Additional software such as a Visual
Studio 2008 Runtime and DirectX June 2010 Runtime will also be installed if they
are not already on your system.
Note: If you run the maxReality_setup.exe program on a system not containing 3ds Max, the
maxReality plug-in will not install but the maxReality Viewer will still be installed.
Tip: If you don’t have 3ds Max but want to try out maxReality, download and install the 3ds Max trial
version, available from the Autodesk website. maxReality will work with a 3ds Max trial
installation.

When the software installation is complete, run 3ds Max to complete the setup.
Trial Install
maxReality can be installed and used on a trial basis for 30-days or 100 activations,
whichever comes first. During the trial period periodic “Trial Version” messages will
be displayed and you cannot export VWD files.
During the trial period, a maxReality Authorization Process window is displayed
during the launch of 3ds Max. Activating a maxReality license eliminates the display
of this screen and removed all other trial version limitations.
If the maxReality license is not activated, the software remains installed and can be
activated at any future date but it will fail to load into 3ds Max and will be
unavailable to use.
License Activation
During the trial period, a maxReality Authorization Process window is displayed
during the launch of 3ds Max.
