If you do not receive your Activation Code within 1-business day, check your junk
mail to see if the reply was redirected.
With your Activation Number in hand:

Launch 3ds Max
 Enter the number in the Activation Number box in the maxReality Authorization
Process window.
 Press the “Activate” button
A message will be displayed advising that the Activation was successful.
Your maxReality license allows the maxReality plug-in for a single installation on a
single computer system. The maxReality Viewer can be installed on multiple
computers and is not subject to the same license activation process.
The maxReality license activation system will enable you to re-install maxReality on
the same computer as many times as required. At times, a new Activation Number
may be required.
If you encounter difficulties acquiring or using an Activation Number, contact Vuzix
Customer Service by email or telephone. Be sure to provide your Product Key and
the Computer Key shown on the License Activation Screen.
Tip: Submit your Product Key the first time the maxReality License Activation screen is displayed.
Don’t wait until day 29 or 30 of the trial period.
3ds Max User Paths
3ds Max provides the ability to specify the location of commonly used files. This
process, called “Configuring User Paths” is optional but will make accessing those
files faster and easier.
 From within 3ds Max , select “Configure User Paths…” from the “Customize”
menu.

Select the “External Files” tab.
