Camera Options
Physics Engine
The dynamics of Interactive Objects with scene and other interactive objects is based
on the “+ Dynamics Tab” in the material editor of 3ds Max

Examples:
Bounce coefficient:

1.0 – 0.0

Static Friction:

0.0 – 1.0

Sliding Friction:

0.0 – 1.0

Materials assigned to interactive objects with higher bounce coefficients and lower
frictional forces will maintain their energy state for longer periods.

Default settings:
Bounce coefficient:

1.0

Static Friction:

0.0

Sliding Friction:

0.0

All interactive objects and the user’s current camera are acted upon via the physics
engine.

Gravity
This option applies gravity effects to the Current Camera and all objects attached to
that camera.

If Gravity is enabled, it overrides and requires the collisions function below to be
enabled. If Gravity is not enabled, all interactions with interactive objects are
straight-line velocities.

The direction of gravity is based on the down direction of your starting camera and
the amount of gravity can be adjusted using the Gravity value settings below.

Note:

The first gravity gizmo added to a scene overrides all cameras gravity vectors.
