Moveable Markers
Moveable Markers are labeled “m0” to “m61” in the “maxReality Marker
Library.pdf.” They contain the same Marker Key as Static Markers but can be
attached to objects and moved at will.
Tip:
By enabling objects as both Moveable and Interactive you can create tools able to interact with
virtual elements.
Moveable Markers are assigned to objects or groups of objects sequentially using the
maxReality Moveable Markers rollout.
Marker Sets
A PDF file titled “maxReality Marker Library.pdf” is included with the maxReality
software package. Using this file you can print your own fiduciary markers.
Marker Recap
• Static Marker Patterns always start with Marker “s0”
• Static Markers must always be placed in sequential order
• The video capture camera must be able to clearly see each sequential marker
pair to learn a Static Marker Pattern
• Static markers cannot be moved within a scene.
• If you tilt or turn the marker, such as way as to loose camera sight of any edge,
marker recognition will be disrupted and the AR display may be lost.
• Fingers breaking the edge of a marker are one of the most common causes of
lost marker recognition.
