Remove the documents. If necessary open the feed unit:
- Place your hand on the push down area F.
- Push down the release handle E.

Remove the documents from the transportation area and from the rear side of the
separation rollers.
4.
Close the feed unit:
- Place your hand on the push down area F.
- Push the feed unit down until it locks into place.
5.
Place release handle D of the separation unit in the closed position.
6.
Tap [x] of the error message at the inserter to reset the error and restart the job.
Operator Troubleshooting
To resolve problems:
Write down the event message number that is shown in the message on the screen.

Try to solve the problem by consulting the

Switch the inserter off and on again, to verify system operation.
4.
When the error still occurs contact your service organization.
When contacting the service organization, you will also be asked
for the last error message and the software package version of the
installed software. To determine the software package version,
see
on page 79.
