Step 6. On the last shelf, terminate the COMM 1 port with the ISCL terminator.
NOTE: Total ISCL bus length for the entire chain must not exceed 400 feet.

4.2.8 Connecting MAJOR and MINOR Alarm Ports
If required, connect the female RJ-11 jack alarm ports, MAJOR and MINOR, to the
appropriate alarm block on the bay/equipment rack, per local methods and procedures.
