4.2.4 Connecting to DSL

Step 1. Connect one end of the male CAT3/5 24-pair cable to the "DSL" female RJ-21

connector on the faceplate of each line card.

Step 2. Connect the other end to the DSLAM.
Step 3. Dress, tie, and label cables following local procedures.
Step 4. Repeat steps #1-3 for every cable connected to a line card.
