How to save/load signals and settings

PScope enables you to save the recorded signals and current settings in an ASCII file. This
means that curves and parameters can be reloaded from the saved file into the oscilloscope
window at any time.

The signal points are saved in a table, which can be imported into external calculation programs
such as Microsoft Excel.

9.5.7 Hardware

Identification

PScope has integrated hardware identification to detect the connected hardware. As a result it
is possible to ensure that all axes and digital inputs/outputs in the oscilloscope function can be
used.

Automatic hardware identification runs when the program is started, provided there is already a
connection between the terminal program PTerm and the connected PMC device.

However, hardware identification can also be run manually at any time, via "Tools" ->
"Hardware Identification".

If hardware identification is successful, the following confirmation message is displayed:

Example of successful hardware identification

All the axes identified will then be entered in the "Axes" list box. Also, all the digital input and
output groups will be available in the "Source" list box for the selected digital signal type.
