7.2.5 Menu "Tools"
Update Firmware: Updates the current firmware version.
Firmware update amplifier, serial:
Enables the firmware for servo amplifiers to be updated via the
serial interface.
Basic controller configuration:
Configuration dialogue box for basic settings on controllers.
Options: In the options menu several common settings can be configured.
Reset automatic connection:
Deactivates automatic connection.
Always save settings:
All settings of the terminal program are saved automatically, if this
check box is activated. By pressing the button “Save Settings now”
the settings are saved immediately.
Never save current display on exit:
Stipulates that, when exiting, Pterm shall no longer ask whether the
data from the current view is to be saved.
