7.4.2 Network Scan
PMCprimo C control systems can be located in the network using the "Scan…" function, even if
the IP address settings have not yet been adapted to the local network. To do this, the PC that
is running PTerm must be in the same network broadcast domain as the PMCprimo C control
system.
Any PMCprimo C control systems found in the network are listed.
Rescan:
Scan again for compatible devices in the network.
Configuration:
Adapt the network configuration for the selected device.
Set the connection data for the selected device.
Ping:
The selected device is pinged. On PMCprimo C devices, the status LED flashes quickly for 5
seconds.
Connect:
A connection is established to the selected device. The IP address settings must first be
adapted to the local network.
