7.8 Firmware Update
With the function “Tools Æ Update Firmware” you can update the firmware of your devices in an
easy way (for the use of this function, at least firmware version 2.005 must be used on the host
system).
As a first step you should create a folder on your computer, containing all the firmware files:
It is important to leave all file names as delivered from us, otherwise the firmware files cannot
be recognized by PTerm.
In this dialogue box you can assign the desired firmware to each device. For devices in the
network, automatically the firmware version is assigned, which was selected for the host
system, as long as there is a corresponding firmware version for this device available.
By clicking on “Update” the update will be started. Messages show the status of the firmware
updates.
