7.4 Establish a connection
Click on “Connect” in the menu “File” or the following button in the toolbar:
Automatically connect when program starts:
If this check box is enabled the currently selected connection is used automatically when
connecting to a system. This function can be reset in the menu “Tools” -> “Options” ->
“Settings” by pressing the Button “Reset automatical connection“.
Please select an existing connection or click on the button “New…” to create a new connection.
If you are using a desktop firewall, you will need to allow the PTerm connections in the
firewall configuration.
7.4.1 Configure connection
Choose a connection type: Serial port, Ethernet or modem!
