Connections via serial port:
Choose port, baud rate and handshake.
Connection via modem:
It is possible to communicate with a PMC device via modem. Select the modem connection and
click on the button “Connect”. The following dialogue box appears. Enter the area code and the
phone number, choose an installed modem and then click on the button “Dial”.
Connection via Ethernet:
Ethernet enables a rapid connection between PC and control system. Enter the control
system’s IP address in the connection dialogue box. If you have not yet assigned an IP address
to the control system, establish a serial connection to the control system and set the address
via the basic configuration dialogue box (Ö7.10 Basic controller configuration) or directly using
the CD command. On PMCprimo C control systems you can also use the network scan (Ö
7.4.2 Network Scan).
