Charging the Aircraft Battery
This charger uses unique peak detection circuitry that ensures an accurate charge every time and protects your
Ni-Cd and Ni-MH batteries from the dangers of over-charging. This charger continually monitors the battery’s
charge curve and automatically stops charging when the peak charge is detected. The peak detection charger
will help avoid damaging Ni-Cd and Ni-MH cells.
Important: The battery should be charged shortly before flying. If you charge the battery
12 to 24 hours prior to flying, you will need to “re-peak” the battery before you fly.
Notice: You cannot charge optional Li-Po battery packs with the ParkZone™ DC Peak charger
included with this kit. You must use a Li-Po specific battery charger. Failure to follow this
warning could result in a fire.

Ce chargeur utilise un système de détection de charge pour protéger votre batterie Ni-Cd et Ni-Mh contre les surcharges tout en optimisant

Important: La batterie doit être un peu chargée avant chaque vol.
Si vous chargez la batterie 12 à 24 heures avant de voler, il sera
nécessaire de compléter la charge juste avant le vol.
Note: Vous ne pouvez pas charger une batterie Li-Po avec ce chargeur.
Vous devez absolument utiliser un chargeur spécial pour ce type de
batterie sous peine de causer un incendie.

Charging the Aircraft Battery
1. Using the dial on the side of the charger, select the
charge rate to 1.4 amps.
2. Connect the battery pack to the charger using the included adapter.
3. Connect the charger to the 12V power outlet in your automobile.
The LED will continually blink while the battery charges.
4. Charging is finished when the LED indicator glows steadily. You
should also notice at this time that the battery is warm to the touch.
Note: Damage to the charger and battery will occur if you exceed the
maximum charge rate recommended.
Note: Do not leave the charger and battery unattended during the
charge process. While charging, place the battery on a heat resistant
surface and constantly monitor the temperature of the battery pack.
If the battery becomes hot at any time during the charge process,
discontinue charging immediately. Do not allow children to charge
battery packs without adult supervision.

Charge de la batterie avion
1. Sélectionner un courant de charge de 1.4 A à l’aide du
potentiomètre sur le chargeur.
2. Connecter la batterie au chargeur avec l’adaptateur fourni.
3. Connecter le chargeur à l’alimentation 12 V. La Led doit clignoter
durant toute la charge.
4. La charge est terminée quand la Led reste constamment allumée.
Vous pouvez remarquer que la batterie est chaude en fin de charge.
Note: Vous pouvez endommager le chargeur et la batterie si vous
utilisez un courant de charge supérieur à celui recommandé
Note: Pendant la charge, la batterie et le chargeur doivent rester
sous surveillance. Placer la batterie sur une surface résistant à la
chaleur et surveiller constamment la température des éléments. Si la
batterie devient trop chaude, couper immédiatement la charge. Ne
pas permettre à un enfant de charger la batterie sans la présence d’un
adulte. Ne pas charger la batterie avec le moteur du véhicule
en fonctionnement.
