Step 9
Choose a Calm Day
You want to fly! However, you need to make sure that you fly in
the conditions that will allow you to have the best success. This is
when there is little to no wind (less than 7 km/h).
To check wind conditions:
1. Tie the included red ribbon to the transmitter antenna.
2. Hold the transmitter antenna so that it is parallel to the ground
and note how much the ribbon moves in the wind. If the
ribbon hangs down, conditions are right to fly. However, if the
angle between the antenna and the ribbon is less than 20
degrees, it is too windy to fly.

Pour vérifier la vitesse du vent:
1. Attacher le drapeau fourni à l’extrémité de l’antenne de l’émetteur.
2. Tenir l’émetteur pour que l’antenne soit parallèle au sol et noter comment le drapeau flotte avec le vent. Si
le drapeau pend vers le bas, les conditions de vol sont excellentes. Si l’angle entre l’antenne et le drapeau est
inférieur à 20 degrés, il y a trop de vent pour un pilote peu expérimenté.

Sie möchten natürlich fliegen! Damit beim Fliegen aber auch alles bestens klappt, müssen Sie darauf achten, dass
die Bedingungen wirklich stimmen. Ideale Bedingungen haben Sie, wenn nur wenig oder kein Wind weht (unter 7
km/h).
Kontrollieren Sie die Windbedingungen:
1. Knüpfen Sie das mitgelieferte rote Band an die Senderantenne.
2. Halten Sie die Senderantenne so, dass sie parallel zum Boden zeigt und beobachten Sie, wie stark sich das
Band im Wind bewegt. Wenn das Band nach unten hängt, sind die Bedingungen für das Fliegen in Ordnung.
Wenn allerdings der Winkel zwischen Antenne und Band weniger als 20 Grad ist, ist es für das Fliegen
zu windig.

1. Annoda il nastro rosso in cima all’antenna della trasmittente.
2. Metti l’antenna della trasmittente parallela al terreno ed osserva come si sposta il nastro nel vento. Se il nastro
pende verso terra ci sono le condizioni per volare. Comunque l’angolo tra l’antenna ed il nastro è meno di 20
gradi, c’è troppo vento per volare.

Esto será cuando haya muy poco o nada de viento (menos de 7 km/h).
Para comprobar las condiciones del viento:
1. Ate la cinta roja incluida a la antena del transmisor.
2. Sujete la antena del transmisor de forma que quede paralela al suelo y observe el movimiento de la cinta con
el viento. Si la cinta cuelga, las condiciones son adecuadas para volar. Sin embargo, si el ángulo entre la
antena y la cinta es menor de 20 grados, hay demasiado viento para volar.
