Bar Tread Tires
B ar tread tires have deep, agri­
cultural style traction grips and are
particularly helpful in soft, m uddy
or sandy soils. These tubeless,
pneum atic tires com e m ounted on
single piece steel w heels, ready
for installation on your tiller. See

TROY-BILT® Tow Hitch
Attachment
Y ou can convert your tiller into a
tractor-type hauling unit in no tim e
w ith the Tow H itch A ttachm ent. A s
show n in Photo 9-9, the Tow H itch
connects quickly to the rear of
the P ow er U nit and com es w ith a
heavy-duty pin and dust caps.
This is a standard-type Tow H itch
w hich can be used for pulling at­
tachm ents such as the S w eep C ul­
tivator. Y ou m ay also w ish to use it
to attach other equipm ent you m ay
have, such as a law n roller, a four-
w heel shredder, a drag m at har­
row , or other im plem ents that
handle w ell and safely behind the
P ow er U nit. The m axim um load ca­
pacity of the Tow H itch is 400 lbs.
The Tow H itch should be used
only w ith attachm ents that have a
double-tongue connection. A ttach­
m ents w ith only a single-tongue
connection should not be used
because they allow the P ow er U nit
to tip excessively forw ard or back­
w ard, and m ake it hard to control.
A ll TR O Y-B ILT non-pow ered at­
tachm ents have double-tongue
connections.

on the back of the unit rotates for

you’ve finished your chores, the
unit stands by itself on its ow n
built-in stand.
The unit w ill handle lim bs up
to 3" in diam eter and tough stalks
and vines that are thicker than 1"
in diam eter, in addition to all m an-
ner of organic m aterial including
leaves, grass, w eeds, brush, paper
and sod.
