cdp
Description: Allows management of Cabletron Discovery Protocol
(CDP) on this device. This protocol is used by
SmartSwitch device to discover other neighboring
network devices and establish the topology of the
network fabric. This protocol can also be used by the
SmartSwitch device to propagate specific information
to neighboring network devices.The user may enable,
disable, or see the current status of CDP.
Syntax: cdp [enable/disable/status]
Options: None
Example: -> cdp status
CDP is Enabled
-> cdp disable
-> cdp status
CDP is Disabled
-> cdp enable
-> cdp status
CDP is Enabled
