hinges
.If the hinges don’t remain centered, stic

through the middle of the hinge to hold it in position.

Adjust the aileron so there is a small gap
betw
een the LE of the aileron and the wing.
The gap
should be small, just enough to see light through or to slip a piece of paper through.

Apply six drops of thin CA to the top and
bottom of each hinge
.
Do not use CA acceler
ator
.
After the CA has fully hardened, test the hinges b
y
pulling on the aileron.

ylon pinned hinges

Apply
a drop of oil or w

rk

aseline into the hinge
.This will
pre
v
ent glue from getting into the hinge in the ne

Be careful not to get oil on the por
tion of the
hinge that slides into the wing and flap
.
If this should
happen be sure to clean the hinge with alcohol bef
ore applying the glue
.

xy to one end of each hinge and
into each of the f
our holes in the wing tr
ailing edge in
the flap compar
tment.
Inser
t the hinge into the hole
,
positioning the hinge as sho
wn.

Apply epo
xy to the opposite end of the hinge
and the hinge holes in the flap
.Inser
t the flap onto the
hinges
.
S
et the wing aside until the glue has cured.

Repeat steps 1- 9 f
or the left wing panel.
