Install a 4-40 n

t, 4-40 threaded cle
vis and
silicone cle
vis k
eeper onto the threaded end of a 4-40
x 36" [914mm] wire pushrod.

fuselage slide the ele

tor wire into the pre-installed
plastic pushrod tube f

r the ele
v
ator
.
Attach the cle
vis
to the ele
v
ator control hor
n.

Using the hardw

install the ele

ator ser

into the ser

n.
Center the ele
v
ator ser
v
o
.
A
lign the ele
v
ator pushrod
wire with the ser
v
o
ar
m.
T
o
get a good alignment with
the ser
v
o
ar
m, adjust the pushrod wire b
y
making
slight bends as needed to the wire
.
Install a 4-40
solder cle
vis onto the ser
v
o
ar
m.
Center the ele
v
ator
and then mar
k the pushrod wire and cut it to length.
Remo
v
e
the cle
vis from the ser
v
o
ar
m.

Solder the cle
vis to the wire
.
Slide a cle
vis
k
eeper o
v
er the cle
vis
.
Then, attach the cle
vis to the
ser
v
o
ar
m.

Install the r
udder ser

f
ollo
wing the same
procedure used with the ele
v
a
tor ser
v
o
.

or the
rudder use a doub
le ser

m and install the cle
vis
one hole in from the outer
most hole as sho
wn.
