, roughen the fuselage
where the stabiliz
ers mak
e contact with the fuselage

Glue the stabiliz
er halv
es to the fuselage with epo
xy
.
T
ape the stabiliz
ers in place until the glue has hardened.

Cut six 1" x 1" [25mm x 25mm] hinges from the
CA hinge str
ip
.
Snip off the cor
ners so the
y go in
easier
.
Install three hinges into each of the ele
v
ator
halv
es and tr
ial fit the ele
v
ators to the stab
.
Once
satisfied with the fit, remo
v
e
the ele
v
ators from the
stab
.
Apply a small amount of epo
xy to the ele
v
ator
joiner wires
.
W
ith the hinges installed in the ele
v
ator
,
slide the ele
v
ators onto the joiner wire and into the
hinge slots
, secur
ing the hinges to the stabiliz
er with
thin CA the same w
a
y y
ou did the ailerons
.
