Synchronizing Object Data With a Mobile
Computer
Once you are done making changes to an object
database, close the Manage Object Catalog window.
Synchronize your changes with the database on the
mobile computer(s).
Establish communication between the desktop and
mobile computer. Select the object catalog you want
to synchronize from the list of catalogs on the desktop
computer. Select the Refresh
symbol for the catalog
to refresh the synchronization (this updates the time
stamp). Select the Sync
symbol to synchronize
the changes with the mobile computer. Repeat this
process to load additional catalogs or if multiple mobile
computers are being used.
Note: Changes made after objects have been mapped
do not get pushed down to existing objects. The changes
only occur on objects that are mapped after the
database has been synchronized.
