A message is shown on the display
while the measurement is being
carried out.
The bright measurement follows the
dark measurement. For this, remove
the dark standard from the haze-
port and press the “operate“ button.
The device completes the bright
measurement and then returns to
standby mode. Calibration is now
complete and the device is ready to
carry out measurements.
6.3 Calibrating with other
Standards
The device can also be calibrated
and tested with a reference stan-
dard in the ASTM measurement
method (see Accessories/Delivery
Package). To enable this, the
calibration data for this standard
must be already entered in the SET-
UP menu (Chapter 10.12). In this
case, the relevant standard must be
placed at the haze-port for
calibration.
