■ Turning on this unit
Press (g)MAIN ZONE ON/OFF (or ®POWER) to
turn on this unit.
The main zone is turned on.

• When you turn on this unit, there will be delay for a few
seconds before this unit can reproduce sound.
• You can also turn on the main zone by pressing
©SCENE
(or
©SCENE)
buttons.
■ Set the main zone to the standby mode
Press ©MAIN ZONE ON/OFF (or ©STANDBY)
to set the main zone to the standby mode.
In the standby mode, this unit consumes a small amount of
power in order to receive infrared signals from the remote
control.
Press
©SYSTEM OFF
to set the main zone and Zone 2 (see
page 104) to the standby mode simultaneously.
