EDITING PARAMETERS
Each of the DEQ7 EQ programs has a number of internal parame
ters which may be edited to create the required equalization or ef
fect. A complete description of each effect and its parameters is
given in “DESCRIPTIONS OF THE PROGRAMS” on page 59!
The PARAMETER key is used to access the parameters which are
unique to each program, and the DELAY/LEVEL key is used to
access the delay and level parameters which are the same for each
program. Using program 1 (GEQ 1/1 oct L=R) as an example,
here’s how to access and edit parameters:
(D Select and recall the effect to be edited.
I The first of the selected effect’s parameters will appear on the
bottom line of the LCD when the program is recalled. Each time
the PARAMETER key is pressed, the next parameter on the
selected effect’s “parameter Hst” will be called. With “GEQ 1/1
oct I^R,” for example, the following parameters are called in
sequence:
Note that the first parameter in the list is returned to if the PA
RAMETER key is pressed after the last parameter (16.00 kHz in
this example) has been called.
) Once the desired parameter has been called, its value is edited by
using the ¿\ and/or y keys. The A key increases (incre
ments) the value while the V key decreases (decrements) the
value. Either key can be held down for continuous incrementing
or decrementing. In the case of program number 1 (GEQ 1/1 oct
L=R), the value for each parameter is a boost/cut setting between
-18 dB and +18 dB.
I
@ If necessary, use the DELAY/LEVEL key to call the delay and
level parameters. The delay and level parameter values are edited
using the
A
and
V
keys in the same way as the parameters de
scribed above. The following parameters are called in sequence
each time the DELAY/LEVEL key is pressed:
