Problem Solution
The printer drops letters in case of
printing from Dos mode in Windows
95.
• Close the Status Display program.
“Check parallel Cable/Status Display
cannot monitor network printing”
appears in Status Display program. • Check the printer cable connections.
• You cannot monitor the status of the printer
which is connected by network. Close the
Status Display program.
Dirty spots on the back side of paper
caused by fuser assy contamination.
• Printing may accumulate toners on the
pressure roller of fuser assy. The
accumulated toner may be melted and
transferred onto the back side of paper.
• Select “FUSER CLEAN” in the JOB MENU.
• “FUSER CLEAN” selection rotates the fuser
about 10 seconds and prints one duplex
page of a specified pattern for fuser cleaning
then stops.

Message Meaning and Required Action
The toner is low. The TONERLOW menu item is set to STOR
