These guidelines have been prepared for the professional contractor to aid in the installation of:
UNIVERSAL ONE HOLE KITCHEN MIXER AND SPRAY (STYLE # UNKM10).
All dimensions are based on original specification and are subject to change and variation.
Please consult your Design Associate for current specifications.

SIDE SPRAY INSTALLATION:

¾ See Figure 2 & Figure 3. for Steps 6-10.

6. Remove the nut, metal washer and rubber washer

from the bottom of the metal sleeve.

7. Insert the metal sleeve along with the escutcheon

into the hole in the deck, making sure the rubber
washer is between the escutcheon and the deck.

8. Re-attach the rubber washer, metal washer, and nut

to the metal sleeve from under the deck.

9. Pass the hex end of the hose through the threaded

sleeve and connect it to the check valve housing,
which is located on the diverter assembly, with the
rubber washer in between.

10. Connect the conical end of the hose to the side

spray with the rubber washer in between.

INSPECT THE INSTALLATION:

11. Connect the hot and cold inlet hoses to supply

valves (Sold Separately).

12. Remove the flow restricting aerator with the tool

provided, then carefully open the hot and cold
valves to flush out any debris in the supply lines.
(See Figure - 01).

13. Inspect all connections for leaks.

14. Re-install the flow restricting aerator making sure

the washer is in place.

15. Make sure the hoses are tight and are not

pinched/kinked.

* Putty contains oils and can cause permanent

discoloration on certain materials such as marble,
granite and any porous surface.
