FINISH:

Before installing this faucet the supply lines must be flushed out to
prevent clogging of the aerator screens and damage to the ceramic
disc cartridges.

4. Remove the caps from the temporary pipe nipples and turn

on the water supply to flush out the lines. Once the lines are
flushed, turn off the water supply.

5. Determine the appropriate length for the pipe nipples. They

should extend beyond the finish wall approximately 3/8".

6. Apply thread sealant to both ends of the pipe nipples and

thread one end of the nipple into the drop ell and the other
end into the wall union (16).Thread the wall unions in a
clockwise direction until the assembly is tight and the union
nuts (15) are facing upwards to accept the faucet body.

7. Hold the faucet in place and attach to the wall unions using

the washers (12) provided. Be sure that the setscrew (8) is
facing towards the wall.

8. Turn on the water supply and check all connections for leaks.

Once the supply connections are confirmed to be watertight
slide the escutcheons (17) back until they are tight against
the wall.

9. To service the cartridge (9,10) simply unscrew the cover

(25) and pull off the handle and cover together. The cover
should only be hand tight. Once the handle assembly is
removed and the water supply is shut off use an adjustable
wrench to remove the cartridge in a counter-clockwise
direction.
