Add-On ROM Display Mode
This function is used to display add-on ROM (read-only memory) messages such as SCSI
BIOS or VGA BIOS in addition to AMC module-specific information.

DESCRIPTION
Force BIOS
Use this setting to specify that third party BIOS messages are also to be displayed during
booting.
Keep Current
Use this setting to specify that only AMC module’s BIOS messages are to be displayed dur-
ing booting.

Off
Use this setting to specify that the keyboard Number Lock is not to be set during booting.
To use the numeric keypad on the keyboard, press the Number Lock key located on the
upper left-hand corner of the numeric keypad. The Number Lock LED on the keyboard will
light up when the Number Lock is active.
On
Use this setting to specify that the keyboard Number Lock is to be set during booting.
This allows the immediate use of the 10-key numeric key pad located on the right side of the
keyboard. To confirm this, the Number Lock LED light on the keyboard will be lit.
SETTING
DESCRIPTION
Disabled
Use this setting to preclude the BIOS from waiting on an error for user intervention. In this
case the system will continue booting up to the operating system.
This setting should be used if there is a known reason for a BIOS error to occur such as the
computer system does not have a keyboard currently attached.
Enabled
Use this setting to direct the BIOS to wait on an error for user intervention.
If an error is detected, it may be possible to correct it by changing a BIOS setting. To do this,
press
