Base Address, IRQ
This is a display only function which indicates the base address and IRQ for the serial port
specified above. This information is derived from the settings specified by the ICH SIO Serial
Port 1/2 Address function on the South Bridge Chipset Configuration screen.
Serial Port Mode
SDO
This function is used to specify the baud rate of the serial port used for console redirection. It
is not available if Remote Access is set to Disabled.
Optimal and Fail-Safe default settings: 11520 8,n,1
Flow Control
SDO
This function is used to select the flow control of the serial port used for console redirection. It
is not available if Remote Access is set to Disabled.
Optimal and Fail-Safe default settings: None
Redirection After BIOS POST
SDO
This function is used to select redirection after BIOS POST for the serial port used for console
redirection. It is not available if Remote Access is set to Disabled.
Optimal and Fail-Safe default settings: Always
