Performance Tests
Your T1 tuner is now complete. Perform the following tests to verify that the unit is working normally.
Refer to Troubleshooting on page 28 if your tuner fails any of these tests.
Power On Tests
Install a fresh battery as shown in Figure 19.

Tap (press for 1/2 second or less) the PWR/TUNE switch. The yellow LED should blink several times
and then stop.
Hold (press for 1 second, then release) the PWR/TUNE switch. The green LED should light and blink
several times, then stop.
Transmit Power Display Tests
Read page 6 of your Owner’s Manual and familiarize yourself with the basic operation of your T1.
Connect a transmitter and a dummy load to your T1 (see page 5 of your Owner’s Manual).
Put your T1 in Bypass mode by tapping PWR/TUNE then, while the yellow LED is flashing, tap
BYP/INFO until you see the yellow LED on steady. It will stay on for about two seconds then and go off.
Tap PWR/TUNE to turn your T1 on, then key the transmitter. The three LEDs come on according to
the RF power level from the transmitter (see page 6 of your Owner’s Manual for an explanation of the
power display).
