Shifting the Program

In Program AE mode, you can freely change the shutter speed and aperture value

combination (program) set by the camera while maintaining the same exposure value. This is
called shifting the program.

To do this, press the shutter button down halfway, then turn the dial until the shutter speed
or aperture value you want is displayed.

Once you take a picture with the shifted program, the shifted program is canceled

automatically and the original program is restored.

If you are using a flash, you cannot shift the program.
