For interval timer recording:
• After selected mode appears in viewfinder, standby and recording (about
0.5 seconds) are alternately performed.
• Tally lamp flashes slowly during interval timer recording.
Press START/STOP button again to stop recording.
• Camera goes into record pause mode.
Notes:
• Press the START/STOP button to cancel self timer recording during countdown.
• Maximum continuous recording time using a fully charged BP-E77K Battery Pack is about 40 minutes at room
temperature. During interval recording, power consumption is the same whether in standby or actual recording.
Hence, recording time with the battery pack will be extremely short. For best results in interval recording, use
the CA-E7 Compact Power Adapter or the optional CB-E7 Car Battery Adapter.
• The camera will automatically turn off after about six hours of interval operation in order to protect camera parts
from damage.
• Noise occasionally may occur at intervals.
• Use only SP mode for interval timer function.
