Record Search (Assembly Editing)
Use the record search function to locate the desired point to resume
recording. Record search can also be used to eliminate noise between
recorded scenes. Use this function when you make additional recordings on
a previously used video cassette — there will be no noise between
previously recorded scene and newly recorded scene.
Place camera in record pause mode.
REC SEARCH

Press REC.SEARCH (+) or (—) buttons to scroll forward or
backward to locate recording start position.
• Press and hold the
+
button to play back the recording forward.
• Press and hold the - button to play back the recording backward.
• Camera returns to record pause mode when you release the buttons.
Press START/STOP button.
• Recording starts.
• Tally lamp flashes rapidly.
